About Us

What Makes Starke Sound So Unique?

Starke Sound stands alone with its use of innovative technologies and superior materials. When combined these components produce an incredibly amazing sound delivering an  unparalleled acoustic reproduction. We understand the need to constantly develop new technologies and vow to continue this process by producing state of the art products.

“Bigger” Sound

Starke Sound speakers are designed to produce a greater overall output with deeper bass and no distortion. The result is a "bigger" sounding speaker housed in a comparatively sized cabinet.

State of the Art Technology

Our speakers utilize a patented Linear Magnetic Field Driver© Technology specifically designed to increase range while minimizing distortion. In addition, our unique beryllium tweeters have the ability to handle high frequencies with amazing detail. Lastly, our carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) cones provide strength and rigidity which minimize structural deflections and maintain the subtle acoustic variations for which our speakers are known for.

Superior Componentry and Materials

We import the best materials from all corners of the globe and spare no expense for each  component down to the last nut and bolt. Our design team investigates all possibilities in order to improve and enhance the quality of our products.

 Brand History

In 2009 a group of Southern Californian designers, engineers, and audio enthusiasts joined together to form Starke Sound - a speaker company created specifically for hi-fi audiophiles. The founding partners        felt that the current state of speaker technology, particularly multichannel technology, was lacking creatively not only in performance but also in the design of the speakers themselves. So the race was on to build a highly qualified multi-disciplinary design team to challenge the status quo and create a world class creative speaker company that combines state of the art technology with an elegant, contemporary design aesthetic.

Los Angeles based architect/industrial designer Scott DeLoache (Chief Design Director) banded efforts with Spring Qin (Chief Marketing Officer), a leading industry marketing expert and former integrated circuit designer. They set out to create a line of speakers that would address the needs of the most discriminating audiophile. The goals they established were simple - high performance speakers with ground breaking technology housed in beautifully designed  cabinetry.

Starke Sound's primary goal is delivering accurate acoustic reproductions with minimal distortion. Multi-channel systems fulfill our desire for a wide and flexible dynamic range but the drawbacks of overall sound quality verses two channel are well known. To solve this dilemma they enlisted Dan Wiggins (Chief Technical Officer), a world renown audio technician. Dan made an immediate impact with his patented LMF© Driver Technology that you'll find in all of the Elite models. In addition to Dan's innovation, Starke Sound imports superior grade materials and electrical components from all corners of the globe to improve and enhance the output.

We hope you enjoy listening to our speakers as much as we enjoyed designing them.

Sincerely -

The Starke Sound Design Team
